IIT JEE (Advanced) Entrance Sample Paper

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2022: JEE Advanced which is the second phase of JEE is a national level engineering entrance examination conducted by different zonal IITs usually on a rotational basis every year. Candidates who qualify in the JEE Mains are eligible to appear for IIT JEE Advanced. Further, students are granted admissions into some of the top Indian IITs and NITs or CFITs, etc on the basis of ranks obtained in JEE Advanced exam.

Every year, JEE Advanced is conducted in the online mode, i.e., it is a computer-based test (CBT). All registered students have to appear for both of the papers—paper 1 and paper 2. Since the competition is stiff—and it keeps getting stiffer every year—all aspirants need to sift through the detailed JEE Advanced exam pattern laid out in this article.

IIT Bombay conducts JEE Advanced every year in May for which an official brochure is uploaded on the official website. Around 2 million aspirants appear for JEE Main every year, and those who fulfill the minimum passing criteria in JEE Main make it to the next stage, which is JEE Advanced. The top 2,50,000 aspirants who crack the JEE Main exam are then invited to take the JEE Advanced exam.
